ACT 2

Out on the range, a young cowboy, Silas, woos a milkmaid, Phebe. Meanwhile, the exiles from town wander the wilderness. On the plain, Lando is wandering and dreaming of the beautiful, vibrant girl whom he met at the saloon and whom he fears he will never see again. Unbeknownst to anyone, Oliver has also left town in search of his brother, pricked by conscience—and realizing that being the strong-arm deputy to an unpopular sheriff is not all it’s cracked up to be!
